Job Description
As a Credit Analyst at Alaya, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brokerage services through meticulous credit assessments and effective client interactions. This role requires you to prepare and review financial documents, ensure compliance with lender requirements, and solve challenging scenarios by liaising with various stakeholders. Additionally, you will generate valuable leads and support post-settlement services, contributing directly to our strategic goals. This position offers a pathway to grow into managerial roles within the finance sector, providing a platform for continuous professional development and leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Australian lenders to analyze and solve financial scenarios
- Assessing completed files with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Preparing preliminary assessments and necessary application forms for clients
- Ensuring documentation completeness and compliance with lender checklists
- Effectively communicating and addressing compliance issues with brokers
- Coordinating tasks with various departments to ensure smooth processes
- Engaging with clients to gather required information and documents
- Mentoring new team members to ensure a seamless transition into their roles
- Assisting brokers in managing client portfolios and post-settlement services
- Contributing to lead generation through effective communication and outreach
Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Qualification (Any of the below):
- Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with over 2 years of relevant work experience
- ACCA Affiliates or part-qualified ACCA candidates (with no more than 3 papers remaining), with over 2 years of relevant work experience in the finance field.
- Chartered Accountants (CAs) or semi-qualified CAs (CAP II completed preferred), with over 2 years of relevant work experience in the finance field.
- Past experience in the finance industry
- Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- A great attitude towards learning – as there will be a huge learning curve!
- Proficient with Google Apps (Drive, Docs, and Sheets)
