Job Description

As a Tax Accountant at Odin, your role is crucial in ensuring seamless tax services for Australian expats and foreign property investors. You’ll be responsible for managing tax filings, providing expert tax advice, and navigating complex regulations to optimise client outcomes. Your work will directly improve client satisfaction and expand our reach in Australia and globally, driving our mission to simplify tax processes for non-residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation and Submission
• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. This includes gathering relevant financial information, analysing data, and completing necessary forms and schedules.
• Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and advise clients on potential impacts to their tax obligations.
• Book-keeping and Documentation: Maintain organised and detailed records of overall financial documents, filings, and correspondence for auditing and reference purposes.
• Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing their tax-related concerns and inquiries, and offering proactive advice and solutions when needed.
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must be an ACCA Affiliate or currently working towards full membership..
• 2+ years of experience preferably in accounting roles/firm or corporate tax department.
• Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English (Writing, reading, and speaking)
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
