Job Description

Sudoku Accounting Solutions Pvt Ltd is currently hiring for a UK Senior Bookkeeper role due to recent growth in their firm. The ideal candidate will be an ACCA Qualified/ Finalist with exposure to UK accounting and bookkeeping work. The current client firm provides services to companies in real estate, construction, engineers and small owner managed entities which will provide excellent opportunity to gain exposure in UK accounting and taxation from varied background.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable laws/standards, including ledgers, journals, and invoices 
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies 
• Preparation of UK VAT returns and streamline bookkeeping process 
• Liaise with UK managers and ensure work is completed in a timely manner 
• Provide mentoring, constructive feedback and trainings as necessary to the junior team members 
• Manage workload and ensure client work is completed in a timely manner 
• Assist Senior Accountant and work as part of a team

Skills and experience:

• ACCA Affiliate/Finalist Minimum 2 year experience of UK bookkeeping in UK outsourcing firm 
• Experience of UK accounting software (Xero, Sage, QB etc) and MS Office suite 
• Strong communication and leadership skill
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail 
• Fluent English (Writing, reading and speaking)
