Job Description
- Tax Preparation and Submission: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. This includes gathering relevant financial information, analyzing data, and completing necessary forms and schedules.
- Nepal Compliance: Ensure compliance with Nepal tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and advise clients on potential impacts to their tax obligations.
- Book-keeping and Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of overall financial documents, filings, and correspondence for auditing and reference purposes.
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing their tax-related concerns and inquiries, and offering proactive advice and solutions when needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 2+ years of experience preferably in accounting roles/firm or corporate tax department.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
- Knowledge in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks etc.) and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English (Writing, reading and speaking)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
