The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying business needs, analyzing processes, and delivering data-driven solutions to support decision-making and drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business requirements and objectives.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Develop and deliver clear and actionable reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide insights.
- Solution Design: Propose and implement innovative solutions to address business challenges and meet organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and IT, to ensure alignment on projects and initiatives.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of processes, requirements, and project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. ACCA qualification (or pursuing ACCA) is an advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey insights effectively.
- Project Management: Basic understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Knowledge of Financial Markets: Familiarity with private equity, investment principles, and Nepal’s financial landscape is preferred.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and manage multiple tasks.
- Language: Proficiency in English and Nepali.
