Job Description:

• Preparing statutory annual accounts, management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, charities, trusts etc.
• Planning and completing assignments to a high standard of technical competence and within deadlines.
• Assisting the portfolio manager & partner to achieve deadlines.
• To undertake smaller and medium sized assignments independently or assist in larger assignments reporting to a Manager or Senior Manager.
• Preparing and Reconciling VAT, PAYE, CIS and Corporation tax with the submitted/filed returns.
• Preparation of personal and corporation returns for the clients.

Skills and Attributes:

• ACCA qualified/semi-qualified accountant with minimum 2 years’ experience in practice.
• Strong academic background with knowledge in Statutory Accounts & Tax preparation.
• Experience in accountancy software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Free Agent, Sage, VT Transaction & MS Office would be preferable.
• Must have sight of how the data being processed will impact the bigger picture.
• Have great attention to detail with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Analytical problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
