Job Description

We are currently hiring for a Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper role due to recent growth in our firm. The ideal candidate will be an ACCA Finalist with exposure to UK accounting and bookkeeping work.

The client firm works with diverse companies from startups, real estate, construction, suppliers, charity to hospitality which will provide excellent opportunity to gain exposure in UK accounting work from varied background.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable laws/standards, including ledgers, journals, and invoices 
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies 
• Assist with preparation of UK VAT returns and streamline bookkeeping process 
• Manage workload and ensure client work is completed in a timely manner 
• Assisting the client manager and work as part of a team 
  

Eligibility Criteria

• ACCA Affiliate/ Part Qualified Minimum 1 year experience of UK bookkeeping in UK outsourcing firm 
• Prior experience of UK accounting software (Xero, Sage, QB etc) and MS Office suite 
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English (Writing, reading and speaking)
