Job Description

• Preparation and finalisation of accounts and corporate tax returns for small and large limited companies and groups in FRS 105, FRS 102, and IFRS.
• Take ownership of assisting UK manager with their client portfolio including financial reports, book keeping and vat returns.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights into business performance.
• Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a primary point of contact for UK Portfolio manager, fostering strong relationships based on trust and effective communication.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.

Other Specification

• ACCA or CA qualified.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English both written and oral.
• Good team player able to cooperate at all levels of the organisation.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify problems and providing solutions.
• Self motivated and energetic showing initiative to exercise judgement and take ownership of issues from start to finish.
• Willing and able to work under pressure and cope with demanding deadlines.
• Prior knowledge and experience in operating accounting softwares such as  Xero, QuickBooks, Freeagent, VT+, Sage , IRIS and microsoft office package.
