Job Description
- Conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes within the construction company.
- Review and evaluate internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure effectiveness and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Identify areas of risk and make recommendations for improvements to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
- Perform financial audits, including examining financial records, reconciling accounts, and verifying transactions.
- Analyze financial data and prepare audit reports detailing findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Communicate audit results and findings to management and stakeholders, and provide guidance on implementing audit recommendations.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during external audits or inspections.
- Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and auditing standards to ensure compliance and best practices.
Other Specification
- Educational Qualification: CA/ACCA.
- More than 2 years of similar experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and techniques.
- Familiarity with financial statements, accounting processes, and internal control frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
