Job Description
Sterling Wells is seeking a talented team member for research and publication to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a general understanding of tax, accounting, and compliance topics relevant to UK clients. In addition to creating engaging and informative content, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of all content produced. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure that content meets their brand standards and effectively communicates their services to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively involved in the business development and strategic direction of the group, liaising with the senior management and CEO
- Lead new product development and geographical expansion of the group’s business
- Oversee client portfolios, ensuring high-quality work with a practical, business-focused approach and exceptional client relationships
- Guide and support team members by delegating tasks and providing on-the-job training
- Work closely with executive leadership, operations, and other departments to ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives
- Create and present financial and sales strategy recommendations to the CEO
- Ensure timely and accurate Management Information System (MIS) reports to the CEO & senior management for informed decision making
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in senior managerial roles, preferably in renowned corporate houses, banks, international companies or Big 4 firms
Skills requirement:
- Strategic: Proven track record in strategic planning and business development, with the ability to drive significant growth
- Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing teams and collaborating across departments
- Analytical: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization. Excellent English (both written and verbal)
- IT: Advanced Excel skills and ability to use other modern IT tools/software (programming language knowledge will be an advantage)
