Job Description
Sudoku Accounting Solutions Pvt Ltd is currently hiring for a Semi Senior Accountant role due to recent growth in their firm. The ideal candidate should be an ACCA Affiliate/ Finalist with exposure to UK accounting and taxation work.
The current client firm provides services to companies in real estate, charity, construction, IT and other SME entities which will provide excellent opportunity to gain exposure in UK accounting and taxation from varied background.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in accordance with applicable laws/standards, including ledgers, journals, and invoices
- Reconcile bank statements and prepare VAT returns in Xero/Sage/Excel/VT
- Preparation of sole trader/partnership accounts and self assessment tax returns
- Assist with preparation of financial statements for companies under UK FRS102 and FRS105
- Liaise with UK managers and senior accountants to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
Requirements
- ACCA/ CA Finalist with minimum 1 year experience of UK outsourcing firm
- Experience with UK accounting/bookkeeping software and MS Office suite
- Strong communication and problem solving skills with attention to detail
