Well, well, well the year has come and finally, Miss Rashila Shahi has graduated as an ACCA affiliate from Seed Financial Academy. I never thought I would write this line or write about my journey with Seed. Nevertheless, the universe has always planned something for us. My ACCA journey was an emotional rollercoaster like everyone else’s. I was not the studious person who topped or passed every paper in the first attempt; rather I was an average low-key student who just cracked one simple formula – consistency matters. The whole mantra of my journey was showing up for myself every day.
In this whole process, Seed Financial has played a crucial part in guiding me and nudging me towards the right steps. Without them, I guess I would still be struggling somewhere in my 13 papers journey. At this moment, gratitude is all I have for the Seed Family, not only for helping me out in my journey but also for helping me in the process of shaping me into this person that I am today. Their continuous support, structured syllabus planning and one-to-one mentor feedback has immensely helped me to plan my study plans and routine, work on my mistakes and prepare me for my big day. The journey was tough and draining, however Seed Family’s support was like a warm hug on a rainy day.
And, how can we miss the Graduation part? One word – epic. It was a dream come true not only for me, but for my Aama too. Her only dream was to see me in a graduation cape and hat with a degree. And, Ananta Gautam sir and the whole team made it possible. It was a picture perfect day where all my friends and fellow affiliates were given the recognition on a platform in front of their respective family members and the whole world. In a market, full of different learning partners, Seed Financial has only been the one who has been holding a graduation ceremony for ACCA students every other year. Cherry on top, Seed Family extended their invitation to those students who did their self-studies in Nepal, or even was affiliated to other learning partners to experience this wholesome achievement. This heart-warming view that, “every student, no matter what background they are from, were provided a platform to celebrate their years of hard work” is what makes the Seed Financial Family different from the rest.
Did you notice something? I have interchanged the word “academy” with “family” for the most part, because at Seed, we are one. The team of the Seed family have never made me feel anything less than a family member. Moreover, if given the chance to relive this whole journey again, no doubt, I would choose Seed Financial Family all over again and make these memories again.
