An exciting opportunity awaits in our rapidly growing UK-based group of accountancy firms. You would be working from our office in Tinkune, Kathmandu.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax advice reports for clients spanning multiple jurisdictions, considering local and international taxes, accounting standards, legal issues, and the impact on company funding requirements.
- Preparation of tax working papers, client packs, reporting packs, etc., as per requirements.
- Preparation and filing of corporate and personal tax returns.
- Dealing with tax authorities for successful tax claims and investigations covering R&D tax credit, income taxes, capital allowances, stamp duty taxes, VAT, etc.
- Involvement in research and product development for tax related products.
- Communicating with clients in the UK and overseas via email, telephone calls, and video conference calls.
- Preparation and filing of financial statements for companies under UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.

Qualification and experience:
- ACCA Tax Trainee.
- Experience in related field (UK Tax) will be a plus
- Priority will be given to candidates with outstanding academic records.
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new software.
- A deep interest in taxation and finance functions is desirable.
Other Specification
- Full training (on the job and off the job) will be provided.
- Office hours: 10 am to 7 pm (5 days a week), with Saturday and Sunday off
