Impact and Opportunity: 
As Australian Tax Accountant, your expertise will be invaluable for navigating complex tax laws and maximizing tax benefits. You will have the opportunity to stay abreast of legislative changes, leverage tax incentives, and offer proactive solutions to minimize tax liabilities ethically.

About the job: 

  1. Tax Preparation and Submission: Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities. This includes gathering relevant financial information, analyzing data, and completing necessary forms and schedules.
  2. Nepal Compliance: Ensure compliance with Nepal tax laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and advise clients on potential impacts to their tax obligations.
  3. Book-keeping and  Documentation: Maintain organized and detailed records of overall financial  documents, filings, and correspondence for auditing and reference purposes.
  4. Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, addressing their tax-related concerns and inquiries, and offering proactive advice and solutions when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience  preferably in accounting roles/firm or corporate tax department.
  • Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks etc.)  and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent English (Writing, reading and speaking)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
